I am a registered psychologist with a Master in Counselling and 10+ years of combined experience that includes social work, addictions counselling, mental health, and psychological testing and evaluation. Since beginning my career, I have developed a passion for understanding human behaviour, how the brain works, and using this knowledge to help people rediscover their unique strengths and capacity for change. I am fascinated by the potential of the mind to overcome almost anything. This fascination has inspired me to work with a variety of populations over the years, from federal parolees and seniors with hoarding disorder, to adults coping with alcohol, substance, and gambling addictions. As a psychologist, I continue to draw from these past experiences, as well as additional training in advance therapy modalities, to spearhead healing and change for a variety of issues.

I also have comprehensive training and experience in psychometric assessments. Although only psychologists can provide this service, not all are trained in it. After discovering its potential to uncover solutions to complex psychological questions, I developed a specialization in the modality, including completion of a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Assessment and extensive supervised experience conducting neuropsychological, intellectual, and personal injury/IME evaluations in private practice settings.

Finally, I have a love for learning, teaching, and coming up with creative ways to translate knowledge into action. I am always updating my own knowledge base and see my role as a psychologist in a similar way: providing education and sharing new skills, and then working with people to apply newfound knowledge into long-lasting, lifestyle change.
